Do I need to book a full move to get hoisting?
No. Hoisting one piece into or out of an apartment is a standalone booking. It is also added to a move whenever the staircase rules out a piece.
Which floors can you hoist to?
It depends on the item, the opening, the building and whether a mechanical lift can be set up outside. Second and third floors of plexes are the typical job; higher floors are assessed case by case from your photos.
Is the window or balcony protected?
Yes. Frames, rails, sills, walls and the floor inside are padded before anything is lifted, and the piece itself is wrapped so it does not scrape the building on the way through.
