Movers in Montréal-Est & Pointe-aux-Trembles

Movers in Montréal-Est and Pointe-aux-Trembles work the eastern tip of the island, where the housing is bungalows, duplexes and riverside homes along Notre-Dame East and Sherbrooke East rather than dense walk-ups. Distances are longer out here, so UnBox plans the drive from the rest of Montreal, the driveway or street parking and the crew size for a house-scale move.

Local know-how

Moving in Montréal-Est & Pointe-aux-Trembles

The eastern tip of the island is house country: bungalows, two-storey homes and duplexes along Notre-Dame East and Sherbrooke East, riverside streets in Pointe-aux-Trembles and the small municipality of Montréal-Est. Walk-ups are rare; driveways, garages and finished basements are the norm.

We plan the drive out from the rest of Montreal, size the crew for a house move, protect basement stairs and load from the driveway. Moves to Repentigny over the Charles-De Gaulle bridge are a short local run.

Moving Tips for Montréal-Est & Pointe-aux-Trembles

Tell us whether it is a bungalow, a duplex or a riverside house; the crew size and truck differ for each.

Clear the driveway on moving day so the truck loads from the closest point; on Notre-Dame East, a side street may work better than the main road.

Basements in the area are often finished; flag heavy items stored downstairs so we plan the stair carry.

For a move to or from Repentigny across the Charles-De Gaulle bridge, share both addresses to plan around the 40.

Pointe-aux-Trembles is a long drive from downtown; morning starts help keep the day on schedule.

July 1 and end-of-month dates book out early; reserve ahead.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you serve both Montréal-Est and Pointe-aux-Trembles?

Yes. Montréal-Est is its own municipality and Pointe-aux-Trembles is part of the Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles borough, but for a move they are one east-end area we cover together, along with Rivière-des-Prairies itself.

Is the east end farther, and does that cost more?

It is a longer drive from the centre, and driving time is part of the hourly total on our pricing page. There is no separate distance surcharge for staying on the island.

Do you move houses with garages and finished basements?

Yes. Bungalows and two-storey houses with basements are the typical move here. We size the crew to the home, protect stairs and floors and load from the driveway.

Can you move between Pointe-aux-Trembles and Repentigny?

Yes. The Charles-De Gaulle bridge makes Repentigny a short local run from the east end; share both addresses and we plan around Highway 40 traffic.

How is a move in Montréal-Est or Pointe-aux-Trembles priced?

By the hourly structure on our pricing page: crew size and time, floors and stairs, driveway or street access, carry distance, heavy items and packing if added. You see the estimate before booking.

Do you handle July 1 moves in the east end?

Yes. Book early; see our July 1 moving day page for how we plan that weekend.

Can you move heavy items or appliances?

Yes. Appliances, safes and gym equipment are moved with the right dolly and floor protection; tell us the item and where it sits.

Do you also cover Rivière-des-Prairies?

Yes. Rivière-des-Prairies is the other half of the same borough, with bungalows, duplexes and newer developments toward Boulevard Maurice-Duplessis and Highway 40. It is quoted as a local move like Pointe-aux-Trembles; share the exact address and access.
